Susan Dotson-Smith Appointed to District Court Bench
Susan Dotson-Smith, a longtime NCAWA member and past president of the NCAWA, has been appointed to the District Court bench for the 28th Judicial District (Buncombe County). She fills the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Rebecca Knight. Dotson-Smith spent 20 years in private practice in western North Carolina prior to becoming assistant clerk of Superior Court in Buncombe County last year. Read more.
