President

Manisha P. Patel

Manisha practices Domestic and Family Law at Ward Black Law in Greensboro, North Carolina. She attended undergrad at Virginia Tech, and law school at Elon Law. She is proud to serve as President of PTWA and works to ensure that NCAWA is a great organization that ties women in the legal profession.  From the beach to the mountains, our membership is diverse in so many ways and my membership in NCAWA has forged invaluable relationships and friendships throughout the state of North Carolina.

Vice-President

Megan Spidell

Megan practices Domestic and Family Law at Dummit Fradin. She graduated from Elon Law in 2012. Prior to that, she received her undergraduate degree at Catawba College. Megan lives in Greensboro and enjoys running, traveling, volunteering, and caring for her three adorable dogs.

 

Treasurer

Blaire McClanahan

Blaire went to Elon Law and practices at the Law Offices of Cheryl David. Her focus is on estate planning and guardianships. Before law school, she attended North Carolina State University where she majored in Business Administration with a focus in Entrepreneurship. She is a fourth generation attorney.

 

Secretary

Morgan Bennett

Morgan is an Assistant Public Defender at the Guilford County Public Defender's Office. She attended Elon Law, where she fell in love with criminal defense work. She graduated from Law School in 2013, and began her career as a Public Defender in Durham County. She majored in Political Science at Appalachian State, and remembers when the Mountaineers beat Michigan. Go Neers! She lives in Greensboro with her husband, and their wonderful beagle mix, Dazy.

 

Program Chair

Michele Cybulski

Michele started clerking at Deuterman Law Group in 2007 assisting on Personal Injury, Workers’ Comp and Social Security Disability cases. After graduating from Elon in 2009, she joined Deuterman as an Associate practicing Personal Injury, Unemployment Law, and Social Security Disability. Now 7 years later their business has grown to the point where she can focus solely on Personal Injury. She has a wonderful boyfriend and two great kids. Her daughter attends App State which is where she went to undergrad. Her son is in the drumline at Page High School. And she has a 60lb dog, Hercules and a 10lb kitty, Electra.
