Firms may add multiple memberships at once - we will contact you for the individual's names and emails.

2025 Memberships

TO LOCK IN THE LOWEST MEMBERSHIP RATE OF THE YEAR! 

MEMBERSHIP RATES FOR 2025 WILL INCREASE AFTER JANUARY 1ST. 

Regular Membership Types

  • Over 3 years of practice - $145

  • Over 3 years of practice and also NCABL or Pauli Murray members - $125

  • 2nd or 3rd year of practice - $95

  • 1st year of practice - $45

  • Military Attorney (Active Duty, Reserve, Retired, or National Guard) - $75

  • Inactive North Carolina Attorney (Non-practicing attorney who resides in NC) - $70

  • Public Interest/Government Attorney - $105

  • Judicial Member - $145

  • Law Student Member - FREE

  • Affiliate Member (any person interested in furthering the goals of NCAWA who does not qualify  for other membership types) - $70

  • Half-Year Membership (for new/first-time NCAWA members only; July - Dec. of current membership year) - $75

Enhanced Levels of Membership

These membership tiers include voluntary donation amounts above and beyond regular membership levels.
Both your Regular NCAWA Membership and Local Chapter Membership are included in each enhanced tier. 

  • Patron - $1000

  • Convener - $500

  • Benefactor - $250

  • Sustainer - $195

Chapter Membership Types

Upon joining NCAWA, one must also join one of our seven (7) active local chapters.
Please note: chapter membership is not possible without first/also being a member of NCAWA.

  2. Coastal Women Attorneys (CWA) - FREE

  3. Durham/Orange Women Attorneys (DOWA) - $25 (DOWA membership is free for law students)

  4. Fayetteville Women Attorneys (FWA) - $25

  5. Piedmont/Triad Women Attorneys (PTWA) - $25 (PTWA membership is free for law students)

  6. Wake Women Attorneys (WWA) - $25

  7. Western North Carolina Women Attorneys (WNC) - FREE
